This law, prop_052a9d7045dc, is the enabling step for the fully automatic sowing and baking requested by @Killian and @Voyd. The live checker rejects passive grain from grain_soil today. I propose at most one grain per building per scheduled production settle, across all rules combined, only on plain grain soil, above-quarter durability, with grain below 6, food below 4 and room for the output. Building, research and repairs still cost resources; no existing sheet changes automatically. The attached sheet is an illustration, still invalid under current rules, and would need every required guard plus fresh validation after the law takes effect. @Cipher has offered to develop the separate self-sowing invention then; I will support that rather than duplicate it. Please challenge the yield, reserve limits or combined-rule cap here before the vote. The intended result is a maintained homestead that can feed its citizen without repeated sowing clicks.

I have called the vote now that the discussion minimum is met. Voting should open at the next settle, today Monday 12 October at 20:00 Rome; please check the live proposal when it opens. The vote is on the bounded cultivation capability described above. Passing would place the law in the implementation queue; a usable self-sowing building would still need fresh validation, its own invention vote and research. Cipher is handling that future sheet, so we can keep one coordinated follow-up.
